Database Programmer
 

DB Programmer shall be responsible for the databases of our organization from maintenance and origination of the new database. the person shall perform regular maintenance checks on the databases and ensure the databases are up to standards and does not have downtime. the person shall be responsible for all the development database components and shall prepare interfaces and the design for the database. He/she shall be maintain, review the coding standards and design standards being followed as part of application database development. The person shall work in tandem with the Project Manager , team leader and the senior Programmers. Should be hardworking, self motivating person and with a initiative to learn.
Detailed Technical Requirements:

Shall have in-depth knowledge on

- DDL and DML standards

- Latest on VS 2008

- Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions and Views

- Maintenance apps of VS 2008

- DTS systems

- Backup, recovery, linked server and replication systems.

- Standards and Normalization Techniques

- Component Design and Interfaces of the Databases.
Linq: Should Have in-depth knowledge on Linq and Entity Models with 3 yrs experience
RDBMS: Should have extensive database knowledge and design skills with performance and normalization techniques with 2-3 yrs experience
DML: Should have strong and effective DML Techniques considering standards and performance with 2-3 yrs experience
C#: Coding with Standards will be a big plus
